Scheduling appointments

Please call 520-471-1618 to schedule an appointment. Appointments are scheduled Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Emergency appointments are available for an additional fee. I can also be reached online at chrismiller@advetds.com.

Any client who schedules and then cancels two appointments will have to leave a deposit of 100% of the anticipated fees before another appointment will be scheduled.

Please let clients know ahead of time that their pet will be shaved. This is mandatory in order to perform a thorough and diagnostic quality ultrasound exam. It is greatly appreciated if you can shave your patient(s) prior to the exam. For an abdominal scan they should be shaved from the 10th intercostal space to the pubis and laterally to the paralumbar muscles. This will include shaving the side of the ribcage to expose the intercostal spaces from the 9th caudad. For a cardiac scan, they should be shaved from the Xiphoid as far forward into the axillary area as possible, and about 1/3 of the way to the dorsum on both sides of the thorax.

Please have 1 -2 assistants available to assist during the exam.

It will facilitate my ability to help you with patients if I can interpret the ultrasound images in light of the physical exam, radiographs, lab work, etc. Please make available the information you have so that I can review it prior to the exam.
