Specialist overread
We are now set up to transmit images for overread by specialists. Depending on the case and the wishes of the referring doctor, the overread can be done by a cardiologist, internist or radiologist. Turn-around time for this service is 24 hours. The additional cost is $100.00
Reports
A subjective evaluation can be verbally given immediately after the procedure. A written report with more detailed information, such as a list of R/O's for the abnormalities found, will be provided within five working days (usually overnight). Reports can be mailed, faxed or transmitted via email. In the case of echocardiographs, measurements will be made before leaving the referring hospital so that the referring doctor will have actionable information as soon as possible. A more detailed report with recommendations will follow within five working days (usually overnight). If requested, a CD of images can be prepared for viewing on any computer. There is an additional small fee associated with creating the CD.
